You can only play the cards you are dealt, and you either play them well or play them badly.

The Klitschkos are winners and they play them very well.

Credit where credit is due then. They certainly aren't lucky in what they've done and it's not their fault it's a bad era.

But it's the quality of opposition that also separates fighters.

Liston: threw both fights to Clay because he was in deep to the mob, who thought Clay would go over better with American whites (they were right) than badass Sonny.

Liston was a bad dude, however. I would have liked to see him fight Clay for real.

George Foreman was thought to struggle against taller fighters - even crappy ones like Axel Shultz. Who knows? Vitali could've beat him. I fancy he might've clubbed Wlad to the floor in barbaric fashion.
