Duran wasn't unbeatable. And certainly was at his best IMO below 147 pounds. At 135 I think Duran beats Pac. At 147, I'm just not sure.
    yea but he's latino.....

Pac at 140+ has been in a different class to his opponents and operating on anothe level. Pac would beat Duran @140 and 147.

Sure SRL is a better name than Cotto and Clottey. But Durans win was a scrappy hard to score win, and Duran probably fought the best fight he could and did the best he could in that fight and SRL probably didnt. Well we know SRL didnt.
Pac was dominant so you cant say because Durans has a better name he would beat Pac.
Pac would beat Duran at 147 as impressively as he beat Cotto and Clottey.

Which is why I'd compare him to Jr Welterweights even though his resume is thin in that weight class.

His name being brought up with the likes of the fighters listed from the past shows how far Manny has come.

Pacquiao chance in this fight, is too get lucky. He got 2 rounds to win this fight, after that he is going to completely shut down, and become target practice.
Oscar De La Hoya - W
              Ike Quartey - W

              Shane Mosley - L
Probably the stronger WW in his generation, and in his prime once again how many shot would pacquiao be able to take before we call it a night.

              Felix Trinidad - L (KO)
(Tito only lost to bigger man, simply because his power didnt move up as well.) But @ WW. Come on man, Pacquiao is getting KO!

If Cotto bust his ear, TITO is going to break his face!

              Vernon Forrest - L
(Pacquiao would not get past the jab)

              Pernell Whitaker - L
(He has just beat Pacquiao the **** up, target practice)
The chance he has in this fight is if Pernell breaks one of his hands or something.

              Ray Leonard - L (KO)
(Probably the best combination of speed and Power I ever Seen) KO 8
Do anybody think @ ww, Pacquiao had more power and speed than SRL?

              Thomas Hearns - L (KO)
(Would Pacquiao trade with Him)? EARLY NIGHT KO 3
How many shots would Pacquiao be able to take, before he got done like duran got did.

              Roberto Duran - L
              (Would Pacquiao trade with Him)?
(If so who has the better chin and more power)?

Pacquiao is going (2-8) No catchweights!

The Worst loses coming to him by Floyd Mayweather. Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, and Pernell Whitaker.
I think the smae thing about the Mayweather fight but didnt feel like arguing that right now. I might start a thread about it later on.LOL. Oh, and I feel like Forrest doesnt do well with hard punchers that throw in bunches. Thats why he was scared of Mayorga.

Like the present day they tried underestimating Pac. But after Pac beat DLH they just make Pac favourite so they dont get egg on their faces.
So Pac would be made underdog against SRL. But after pulverising SRL, the bookies would make pac favourite against the rest of them. And he wouldnt get no credit for beating any of them. Because hes expected to win.
He has only fought flat footed fighters at 147, but I give him full credit. SRL would dust his ass off though.

Yeah he cant fight inside. If he stays close then he wants to lose. If he keeps moving maybe he stops him. But Pac cant get cute like he does against the fighters today.
