Bigger with a good jab is generally kryptonite to a smaller man which the rest of the list has and Sweet Pea is Sweet Pea.
sweet pea is an awful matchup for pacquiao.

not only is he a great defensive fighter with speed , he has a great chin too.

      kryptonite for offensive punchers.

Yea I don't see why people would say Manny would beat Pea, unless they are talking like Oscar or Tito coke head Pea but that ain't the real Sweet Pea.

They would be more similarly sized though I guess

            maybe steal rounds with workrate?

            i don't know.

don't like that matchup for pac.

he can't steal points getting knockdowns either like with jmm. whitaker had a good beard.

Wait, He beats a prime Pernell Whitaker, Shane Mosley, Ike Quartey and Floyd Mayweather. But he couldnt convincely beat Juan Manuel Marquez?

Manny is too flawed to beat an ATG Boxer. PERIOD!

Yea that would be his path to victory, tough way to beat a guy like Pea though especially at his best. There is always a chance though, off the top of my head that would not be the in the top few I would like his chances best against.

Against later Pea that would be how he would win for sure though, as that is pretty much how Oscar won and that isn't even his real method of fighting.

Tito would be an interesting one as would younger roided up Mosley (pre Oscar II or Forrest I the later form of Mosley I would always expect Manny to beat) since that is strong offense against strong offense.

What would matter more, Manny multitude of strong yet speedy combos, or would the heavy artillery pay off for the bigger men since Manny will get hit and getting hit against those guys never ended up well for their opposition.

I would consider those 50/50ish fights

That last statement is true. MOst underestimate Pac as a great boxer. Thats from a die hard Mayweather fan. YOu know how it goes around here "older means better".

                    Mayweather well we'll see soon
He still beats Oscar. Mosley probably knocks him out. Too much pressure for Quartey. He knocks trinidad out. He gives Forrest fits. Pernell pops himfor an easy 12rd decision. Leonard punishes him. Hearns is 50/50. I think he could possibly KO Duran if he fights like he did against Cotto. If not Duran slumps him with a body shot early.

If Pernell keeps the fight boring then he wins easy. If Sweet pea gets too brave then its trouble.

                      Floyd, who knows.
De La Hoya wins, more like 50/50 but I favor De La Hoya
                      Mosley wins, best fight
Quartey could win, but I wouldn't favor him
Trinidad, puncher's chance (but a huge punchers chance... He gets Pac against the ropes...)
Forrest, he fights like Mosley, but is a lot smaller... So...
Whitaker, he'd have to show me something new but I call it 50/50
Leonard, great fight, but Leonard by UD
Hearns, Pac has a slight puncher's chance, otherwise Hearns by KO
Duran, 50/50 depends on who's game plan gets off first.
