Amir Khan is already taking like he is the biggest name in boxing. He is always saying that he will get a chance against Mayweather. What does Mayweather have to gain by fighting him. Now Khan is saying that people should take peanuts to fight him and that they better take the offers. Of course these no names should not ask for huge purses, but they should not jump at any offer. Khan already feels that people should be grateful to fight him. People should be grateful to find Mayweather and Pacquiao, not Khan. Khan is a long way from accomplishing what they have. How is Amir Khan a big star anyway? How does he deserve million dollar purses? Because he is a champion? I hate when guys beef up their records overseas and fight a few name guys and swear they are the biggest thing in boxing. Maidana is the biggest name he fought. The only other recognizable fighters on his record are Barrera and Kotelnik. He looked horrible in that Maidana fight when he was running all around the ring and catching unecessary shots. He was hurt MANY times in that fight. I guess hiring Freddie Roach in of itself raises a fighters stock because Pacquiao is one of Roach's fighters.

McCloskey should accept the offer. Amir said their offer is 3 times his biggest pay day. So Mccloskey should agree. I hope that Amir doesn't fight Murray. Murray is a bum and doesn't deserve it. I would like to see how Amir handles southpaws and McCloskey is a decent one.

I love the way Khan has the propensity to bend the truth... LOL! The only reason Team Khan gave Maidana a better 2nd offer was because Team Maidana requested and won a purse bid split. It was only AFTER that, that Khans team offered Maidana more, because if it had gone to a purse bid split, Khan stood to make significantly less than his guaranteed (GBP) purse plus profit.

Just like how HBO kept saying during the Khan/Maidana fight that Khan specifically CHOSE Maidana, that Khan pursued and went after Maidana as his opponent. Maidana was his MANDATORY and had been for quite some time. He was going to have to fight him anyway! Just because somebody repeats something enough times doesn't make it the "truth".
