I thought Oscar, but Oscar never won big fights.

        Hmm...

Something about that Tito hit too hard and he was starting to feel the pressure or something to that effect so he decided to get in his bike. It doesn't sound like Oscar felt like he was owning Trinidad.

Matter of fact define "owning" for me? Hopkins owned the **** out of Tito, Pac owned the **** out of Oscar, that is owning...If Oscar owned Tito then fine but then also Whitaker, Ike, Sturm, Mosley, Hopkins, Floyd, owned Oscar.

And, the Oscar-Tito fight had nothing to do with my comment. My comment was base on that Oscar couldn't KO a prime top fighter at 147 or above. I guess it went over your head.

And, why would I give yo hate for stating your opinion?
Yeah, but it's a different caliber we're talking about here. The guys that Oscar couldn't stop were almost unstoppable. Whitaker, Tito @ 147, Mosley, Ike and Camacho. No one has been able to get close to knocking any of them out at 147.

However, Oscar did stop Gatti, Kamau, Chavez, Carr, Coley etc and got about as close as anyone has to stopping guys like Camacho, Ike etc.

Cotto isn't hard to hurt and knock out for someone like Oscar who would hit him hard and often and late in the fight when he's fragile. Cotto isn't tough like those bastards.

He's too easy to hit and Oscar would set that left hook up later in the fight with perfection on a Cotto wearing down and then finish him with a flurry against the ropes with ref jumping in.

Cotto just doesn't have the **** to beat someone of Oscar's talent.
I agree with that in the bold. But, also the only guys that Oscar KO'd at 147 were not as good as Cotto in any way.

Cotto wouldn't have been a huge fight back then. Not when guys like Ike, Tito, Whitaker etc would have pwned Cotto on his way up.

Oscar is so overrated its amazing, the guy lost all and I mean ALL of his big fights. Not to mention if we are talking jabs the first thing I think of is boxing and Cotto is simply a better BOXER than Oscar is. Oscar never outboxed anyone except for Tito and I think Margarito could outbox Tito. Oscar would have to pressure Cotto, but Oscar has horrific ring generalship, Oscar at heart is still a Mexican type fighter in that he comes forward but doesn't cut off the ring well or have great footwork. I'll take Cotto, in a great very close fight as most of Oscars loses were.

But, neither of those guys were as good as Cotto in any way at 147.

The best guy he KO'd at 147 was Oba Carr.

Cotto is also a different caliber than those fighters.

Oscar's too big for him, his jab would dominate Cotto. UD.
