Why is there so much more money in Boxing than all other fighting sports?

My uncle has a Boxing gym in Australia and he says there are so many Thai and Filipino fighters traveling over to Australia to start Boxing and he says they started in Kick Boxing and Muay Thai but left that because there is just so much more money and opportunity in Boxing. I was just wondering why is there so much more money in Boxing than all these other fighting sports?

There is much more exposure for boxing. I would love to see muy Thai on a national broadcast. Its more violent than boxing.

I know a lot of boxers do not make much money but there is just so much more money in boxing than muay thai, kickboxing, and mma.

There isn't more money in boxing than MMA, the fighters just get a bigger slice of the pie.
