He's also been a promoter for close to 40 years, as well as during a time when Boxing was at it's peak in popularity and demand.

The best thing MMA did was not follow Boxing's current business model and went in their own direction. Since the early 1990s, the UFC went from a $2 Million company to a $100+ Million company, and that's only speaking for the UFC.

The one thing I will say for MMA as of recent where they may have a bit of an edge is their consistency on their cards. Nobody finds it ironic how much better the Boxing under cards have gotten in the last few years? I don't...

I am not knocking mma/ufc but it has been around for 17 years and is nowhere near as established a sport as boxing is. Boxing has so many shows around the world is so much more global that I feel it easily generates more money as a sport not for a particular company like ufc but as a sport.

I think the business model for ufc one strong card a month with competitive fights is great but I really doubt that will last much longer because I feel it will go the same route as boxing where the stars are going to want to be paid what they should for what they deserve and not want to split the money up.

I believe you're assuming more than actually providing proof.

It's pretty evident that there are MMA cards held throughout the world if you did research or if you were an avid fan of MMA. Just as you more than likely weren't aware of the Boxing card that took place in Tai Pei a few weeks back is the same as you not knowing about the MMA card that took place in Hamburg, Germany 2 weeks ago.

I can not provide proof bc there is no real way to get the actual numbers that some shows are doing but do you agree that Boxing has many more shows internationally than mma and that there are many more professional boxers than mma fighters internationally? The star power in boxing is only second to soccer you go anywhere on the planet and say Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Klitschko and maybe Cotto and everyone knows those names.

I also feel that is very obvious but he is looking for a way to prove it which is basically impossible to find the numbers that show it. There is a reason Mayweather/Pacquiao made 40+ million in boxing last year because of the huge fan base boxing has all over the world. I know those are just two fighters but there are a lot of fighters that do extremely well all over the world in certain regions like the Klitschkos, Canelo Alvarez, Lucian Bute, Juan Manuel Lopez and a lot of other fighters.

Ugh you haven't seen the endless sold out PPV's that do half a million buys every month plus the crap load of big time sponsor's that are pouring money down the UFC's throat. Plus the The Ultimate Fighter series thats in it's 13th season, does strong ratings, and is like an endless ***ing commercial for the UFC. Yeah I'd say it's doing really ***ing well no matter what you think of the numbers reported.
