Hopefully they change it soon so people do not get mislead into believing he did plead guilty. As I almost did, just by reading he was at his evidence hearing. When he was really at his preliminary hearing.
My hunch...he'll plead guilty, and will receive probation.

Look for this to either be settled out of court or a slap on the wrist for Floyd. All I know is this fool needs to get back in the ring ASAP.

Originally posted by Horus View PostAs of now he did not plead guilty, nor is there any proof that the evidence they have against him should cause him to plead guilty. So hopefully BPP or Mark will change article to accuratly reflect the reality that he was at his preliminary hearing not his evidence hearing. Which are two completely different things.

Once again,
If the defendant pleads guilty, an evidentiary hearing usually follows. The court is not required to accept a guilty plea. During the hearing, the judge will assess the offense, mitigating factors, and the defendant's character, and pass sentence.
If the defendant pleads not guilty, a date will be set for a preliminary hearing or a trial.
Mayweather went to his preliminary hearing today, not a evidentiary hearing.
