Kessler can't win big fights outside of Denmark.

Kessler has a shot at the WBC holder, that's for sure. He's not sure to have the first shot at him though. If Showtime wants bute against the super 6 winner (and everything points in that direction), Kessler will have to wait. Showtime is not the WBC, they have their own agenda. Want it or not, a Kessler-Ward rematch is less marketable than a Bute-Ward fight. If Froch wins the tournament, it could be different.
If he faces Bute before the end of the tournament, Kessler is sure, if he beats him, to have the first shot at the WBC title, and he would have the IBF title as a bonus. Not bad, no? I would understand him to take 1 or 2 tune ups, but it's at his own risks. The risk of letting Bute pass in front of him.Comment

I think Kessler should give Froch a rematch even if Froch loses somewhere in the tournament. As much as I hate to say this, I want to see Bute get thrown in against the winner. It's not that he deserves a shot either from fighting bums because he doesn't. But somebody may as well try to take that 0 from him.
I personally think Bute is such a protected hype job that on top of ducking the super six winner, he won't even fight Hopkins.Comment

Kessler is the Emeritus champion, remember?
He vacated that title and left it in the Super6, he never lost it. He has the right to fight the WBC champ.Comment

There was a lot of ambiguity regarding the ash cloud, Froch actually wanted the fight put back as it interrupted his training. Regardless, any rematch should take place in the UK, certainly not Denmark or the US.
My point was about the location of any 3rd fight, not whether there would be one.If Froch wins a rematch I guess most would like to see a trilogy.

kessler dropped out of the tourney. imho he doesn't get first dibs at the winner.
the most logical solution is kessler and bute fight for that honor.Comment
