Mayorga is an easy win for Cotto. Arum doesn't mind working with other promoters as long as his guy isn't in danger of losing.

And Top Rank has options on Mosley's next fight.

Is that the only one fight you can point to? Because I can give you a longer list of Top Rank-only fights.

Plus I guarantee you that Arum wasn't expecting Pavlik to lose to a junior middleweight.

Throughout time I can point you out more if you would like. I have no problem with that.

Yes he has inhouse fights. But, what top promoter with those type of resources don't?

JMM last 5 fights have been in house fights.

How many GBP in house fights have there been?

Just as much as you can name for Arum, I could name for GBP, and I could name for Don King when he was on top.

All the other wannabe promoters, if they had the same resource that King had or that GBP and TR have they would do the same thing. But, since they don't have those resource they play booking agents to GBP and TR.

Again, Arum gets too much crap for this. Stop blaming him, the fights can get done if the fighters doesn't sign. True the less establish will have to listen and let Arum handle it. But, the more established fighters like Pac, Cotto, Juanma, Gamboa, can make their own decisions. Arum works for them not the other way around. They are just as happy with Arum moves. So lets stop blaming Arum and blame the fighters.

Personally I'm glad that HBO put their foot down on Arum's bull****. Unfortunately he is now going to try to pull the same crap on CBS.

as much as i dislkie Bob it appears Showtime gave him a better deal.

To be fair i don't think they were expecting that....Bob even said after the fight he hadn't seen Sergio fight before, but if he had he wouldn't have paired him with Pavlik.

Either way more networks = good. HBO up **** creek = good.....cause it forces them to do something about it.

Well he was already pairing him with P-Will.

It wasn't Arum that pulled out, it was Pavlik...TWICE!!!

Are we going to believe that Arum hadn't seen P-Will fight either?

yea not many ppl thought p will would beat pavlik either. pavlik is the much bigger fighter afterall and p will was still relatively unproven at the higher weights, unless u wanna count the winky fight.

                      Really now?

That is interesting. I know that was the train of thought pre Hopkins. But, I'm pretty sure especially on here people thought P-Will would have beaten Pavlik. Since Pavlik hadn't shown anything post Hopkins to be able to beat a fighter like P-Will, I think the Martinez fights made people forget how P-Will was perceived at the time.

                      But, whatever.
