remember Pac fought bigger fighters above his size and weight whist Sergio fought his size and same weight. If the BWAA gave the award this time to Sergio it must be respected for a change. Pavlik was bigger than Martinez. Paul Williams was/is and rated better

Martinez had a good year so I think he deserved the award this year. But to say that he took the more dangerous fight is bogus. PAC fought guys much bigger than him so it's much riskier.
