        Chris Eubank was the best,no doubt about that. Eubanks best work was better than anything I've seen, his talent was scarey at times. Yes he was frustrating at times, had his pompous flaws, sometimes even looked like a novice, but at other times he was magnificent and simply the best. And when I saw simply the best I do mean simply the best.

          Everybody knows that the 'big three' were Benn,Eubank,Watson. They were the three best. Eubank has a record of 3-0-1 against Benn and Watson, nuff said.

          After dominating the first Benn fight and dominating the first half of the first Watson fight,I am sure at that point everybody felt Eubank was the best british middleweight ever by a distance and definately the best middleweight in the world, heading for his 28th win from 28 fights was the young and brash 24 yr old maestro who had only ever been troubled by a few Benn bombs.

          And JuyJuy why even mention Collins and Calzaghe? The great era of the british middles/super-middles was Benn,Eubank,Watson,Wharton. I really cant work out why you list Collins and Calzaghe. Since Eubank and Benn retired it has ******. You may as well list Eastman as well if your listing Collins and Calzaghe.
          Collins,Calzaghe,Eastman -none of those guys deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Nigel or Chris. A young, fresh, hungry Wharton of 89-93 beats Collins and Calzaghe on the same night,Wharton really should of moved upto lightheavy after Benn was too scared to give him a rematch because Wharton was really struggling to make supermiddle. If Wharton hadnt of suffered stage fright and hadnt of given away the first four rounds against Benn then he'd of beaten Benn that night, and he'd of surely beaten Benn had there been a rematch. I really thought Wharton could clear out the supermiddles,he had Benn ducking below his knees and had Benn running for his life in the end. I still cant work out how Eubank beat Wharton so well over those 12 one-sided rounds at the Gmex, maybe all the weightdraining had got to Wharton by then, and it has to rank as Eubanks best ever performance.

            Ive gone with Herol Graham - at his best they just wouldnt have got near him, although his punching power was poor I feel he would have had enough to rack up the points.

            Herol was similar to RJJ (i said similar)

            2.Chris Eubank
            3.Nigel Benn
            4.Michael Watson
            5.Joe Calzaghe
            6.Steve Collins
            7.Rob Douglas - way adrift of all of the above.

              It all comes down to Watson or Eubank man. Definately either Watson or Eubank yo because they were the two guys who beat Nige.

              Watson was real good, he was a good contender but he lacked the x factor to go that step further,, when all is said and done man its Banks who has two wins over Watson and its Banks who had that x factor

              So my choice is Eubank

                Ive seen clips of Rod Douglas and he was the full load, he had it mate he was proper good, its just a shame what happened with Douglas, did he not win the Aba nationals in these yrs 83, 84, 85 and 87 (Nige won 86) ? And Im pretty sure Douglas got a medal at the LA olympics did he not

                    [QUOTE=ThaGreatest_NK]Dumb ****!

                    Herol Graham would've beat all of them, he would've beat the 85 version of Hagler too...[/QUOTE

                    Julian Jackson is one word I have to say about Herol Graham. He was good but not that good. Benn would have found a way to beat him
