Thanks Dempsey,I'll throw in my 2 cents as well.I'm a fan of boxing,(the sport)not the business. This tread wasn't about the business of boxing puga, again U read & understand at ur leisure.

The business aspect of boxing is what is greedily killing the sport. It looks to me like all arum did is move his ppv mismatches from hbo to showtime.Whoop d ****ing whoooo.Hbo are busy promoting the fight with Alexander-Bradley,on the network without the ppv price.U want more people to watch boxing, give em good competitive fights without the high ppv price.

Boxing back in it's high day was on abc & ****,it was popular & people tuned in.Then htey moved the bigger fights to showtime & hbo & that trend continued onto ppv & lately we've been seeing a little too much mismatch ppv's.As a boxing fan,I wanna see good fights for cheaper than a superstar taking mismatches & throwing that **** on ppv.U know why everyone tunes in to the superbowl??It doesn't cost much to watch. That's why more people will watch basketball & football & less will watch a ppv fight.

Ok picking bradley and alexander is hopefully going to b a good fight for hbo. But who's going to watch bsides the hardcore. Hbo didn't market the fight at all!!!!!! Same with the last 3 months of 2010 no marketing!!!! And that's the real problem with boxing. Period! I don't care where the fights go they could be on nbc, abc, cbs, hbo, showtime, animal planet! I don't care just make the fights and get some hype behind them please!
