    Don't forget....

Floyd, Sr and Roger grew up in poverty in a single parent home much the way Manny and Bobby did. They weren't born in gyms.

And they grew up to become a champion and a contender , like manny and bobby.

Although manny is clearly more accomplished than roger was.

Floyd jnr never grew up in poverty he had an education and food was alway in the fridge. His family were well off, they were not poor.

Manny was malnourished as a child if he was brought up having a healthy diet and not having to spend his childhood days selling cigarettes on the street, he could have been even better than he is now.

I think he has enough fighting will and talent at this point to beat a lot of people on his own. He's pretty complete as a fighter now.

Could he have made it this far without Roach? I doubt.

That was really a match made in heaven.

What part do you disagree with?

That Manny was not malnourished and lived in poverty.

Or the part where eating well help you develop better physically than being malnourished?

                Talent -

a- Natural endowment or ability of a superior quality.(thefreedictionary.com) A "natural endowment" is synonymous with "attribute." (My words.)

b- A characteristic feature, aptitude or disposition of a person or animal. (merriam-webster.com)

c- A special natural ability or aptitude. (dictionary.com)

d - A power of mind or body considered as given to a person for use and improvement... (dictionary.com)

No need to split hairs on this one. Being able to absorb lightning fast punches is no less a talent than being able to deliver them. It's just not as pretty.....

Fighting with intensity is not a talent. Being a pressure fighter is not a talent.

Gutting it out through pain is not a talent.
                  They certainly are talents.

When a fighter possesses these qualities in boatloads, they're not only talents, but supreme talents.

You have to be joking, I dont think you know what poverty is like in the US compared to the Philipines, Manny would have had a harder upbringing then both Mayweathers togeather.

And then Floyd was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, there is no comparing.
