Manny was a great boxer before Roach, it seems you dont know what you are talking about to me.

Floyd was born into a boxing family and taught boxing since he was like 3 yo.

So if you do something nearly everyday since you were 3 then Im pretty sure it should come naturally or if not then you are just bad at it.

If Floyd was born into a normal everyday family I dont think he would be boxing or if was born into a family like manny had, he might not even be alive.

On the other hand Manny came from nothing and was a world class boxer without world class training, so does that make him more naturally gifted? I dont know.

Imagine if manny was born into a boxing family, was trained since he was 3 yo and actually had a amature boxing career. He would probably a more complete fighter then he is now.

They both have excellent attributes for boxing and combined with their work ethics makes them great boxers.

If we're gonna talk about being born with a gift (which is complete nonsense) then coming up from a third world country, fighting professionally at 16 and winning a world title without any Amateur experience >>> Being brought up the right way in boxing, I.E. learning from a young age, boxing amateur with headgear, participating in the Olympics and then turning pro.

I wouldn't say he is gifted. Gifted fighters are someone like Roy Jones who has crazy atleticism and reflex, or Valero who has unbelievable KO power. Mayweather although is fast and atletic relies more on skills and smarts. He can is the most complete fighter I've ever seen yet his resume could have been 10 times better.

I'm not hating at all so don't get the wrong Idea, Roach has done this with Amir Khan too, recently he has completely transformed Amir into a potential P4P great.

I see people on here say "Floyd only needs someone to hold the mitts, if Roger got sent inside Floyd would be fine."
To a certain extent this is true, his ability to adapt in the ring to his opponents style almost comes natural to him.

Floyd's gift is more than just being born into a boxing family. Oscar also comes from a boxing family, but he's nowhere near as talented as Floyd.

IMHO PAC had a gift with an abundance of speed, power and heart, Freddie trained Manny to use those gifts ....

I have to add the PAC won his second World Champhionsip barely a couple of weeks with Roach, he would have won that with or with Freddie...
