warm reception of showtime? I've seen all of tysons fights and believe me nobody was a bigger tyson basher, deserved and undeserved, than that crumedgeon ferdie pacheco on showtime. larry merchent didnt show any bias against or toward tyson. but that pacheco guy gets on my nerves everytime i watch an old fight and i have to hear his commentary

Nobody's greater than Ali in the heavyweight division when it comes to Ferdie Pacheco, he's bias to his fighter whom he had work in the corner. These old school guys are all in the same mold. Look at Angelo Dundee, he was hired as an adviser/consultant by Oscar on the Pacquiao fight, he said Oscar look like a million bucks and it will be easy work for Oscar. Ever since that beatdown Pac gave to Oscar, Dundee always favors the boxer who's on the other side of the corner of Pacquiao's. IMO HBO did the right thing for not picking up Pacquiao-Mosley and Cotto-Mayorga.

Can you imagine a 24/7 with Pacquiao and Mosley? Very entertaining inside the ring but incredibly dull outside of it.

It wasn't Cotto-Mayorga that HBO shot down, it was Cotto-Martirosyan. Yes the same Cotto that had the highest rating on HBO last year! The same cotto that has given HBO so many exciting fights, win or lose. How is Vanes not up to par when he's ranked in the top 5 of every organization, top 10 in ring and undefeated?

All these people talking about CBS being in all these homes. WHO IN THE HELL WATCHES CBS?????????? You guys are clueless. This will do nothing for the ppv numbers. How will they promote this fight? Mosley coming off an embarassing defeat to Mayweather and a terrible performance with Mora. I guess to promote this their gonna show 15 seconds of the 2nd round of Mayweather-Mosley to promote this fight. And those who didn't see the fight will think Mosley has something left lol.

I can't take Showtime seriously when all of their fights come on at 10pm on the west coast, and have the nerve to have a lead-in bout first! Showtime? We're talking about Showtime? They've never offered a bout in HD, and the commentators suck. I'm disappointed that HBO fighters don't show loyalty to a network, that may not always make the best matches, but do actually give a damn about the presentation, and production of their telecast. Shobox sucks, and the people on there suck. HBO has great bouts on Boxing after dark, and it usually airs around 9pm p/c..Showtime must have Boxing after dark EVERYTIME!! Because it airs late EVERYTIME...The internet has the results by the time they come on the air!!!! I can't see how this is a good move for us casual boxing fans. I agree that Pacman vs Mosley is a total croc, and i think HBO told Arum so, which is why Arum made the switch. Arum thinks HBO uses favortism with Golden Boy and this move is ****** and political. Hbo televises their HBO PPV cards free the week after the fight, for their HBO susbscribers who couldn't afford the fight, i've never seen Showtime replay a PPV the next week...oh that's right..they never have any!!! Showtime is a ****ty network, sort of like a clueless girlfirend, who comes to a fight, not for the love of the fight but for the "event" and nags you with dumb questions the whole time ruining your experience..Enter showtime..no clue..or know-how on big budget fights..but HBO was getting too much shine so here they come..unless they get Money-Pacman..i'm not buyin ****..follow my lead everybody!
