Bob Arum, the promoter of Manny Pacquiao, said last week that he negotiated with Floyd Mayweather Jr. for a proposed Nov. 13 fight through HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg.

Leonard Ellerbe, one of Mayweather's advisors, then issued a bizarre statement claiming no negotiations ever took place. That was corroborated by Richard Schaefer and Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions, with which Mayweather is affiliated.

Now Greenburg releases a short statement on Monday evening saying he did in fact act as a go-between in negotiations with the two sides.The statement:

“Fights like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao are significant because of these fighters’ ability to connect with sports fans around the world. It’s unfortunate that it won’t happen in 2010. I had been negotiating with a representative from each side since May 2nd, carefully trying to put the fight together. Hopefully, someday this fight will happen. Sports fans deserve it.”

Arum knew damn well that Floyd is not going to answer to no clock.
Bob was telling the media continously about the 2nd negotiations
but it didn't even go nowhere. Sure Bob Arum and Pac wanted to
make the fight more than Floyd. that's why Arum worked his butt
off to get Margarito reinstated to fight Pac for a vacant title at a
catchweight. Arum had the whole thing planned like he did with
Clottey and Mosley. Telling us that Floyd is the focus but Pac fights
get done rather quickly. I don't believe Arum, roach or Pac. Hell I
don't believe the whole team because all they have been spewing
is nonsense.

And to make it worst. Floyd ain't even talking AT ALL but Arum keeps
mentioning how Floyd is a priority but he doesn't even want to make fights
and break bread with Oscar and Floyd. Think Bob wants to risk his cash
cow to someone with the possibility of showing Arum up. ESPECIALLY
someone he hates (Floyd). Mosley had to leave Golden Boy to get a fight
with Pac and Mosley had no beef with Arum. that should tell you something
right there.

So, you're owned by your own words.. Floyd started at 106lbs, now figting to the extent of full 154 lbs.. how many lbs was the difference? If Floyd can why can't Pac??? common, don't be double standard just to lick Floyd ass!
