According to these forums, real boxing fans must meet the following criteria:

    1. Be either a fan of Juan Manuel Marquez, Floyd Mayweather, Tim Bradley, Devon Alexander or any fighter Pacquiao beat down

    2. Assume that any fighter with a recent loss is a shell of a fighter and no longer a decent threat to anybody anywhere, not even your grandma

    3. Consistently use the term "any true boxing fan"

    4. Most importantly, discredit any fan of Pacquiao as being a "casual" fan

if you don't appreciate the virtuoso fight put on by floyd against baldomir, you're not a real boxing fan.

been looking at your answers a good chunk of you think you are a true boxing fan

news flash, a "true boxing fan" is anyone who enjoy boxing.

whether you cheer for one fighter, or really try to follow every fighter even at the prospect level, you are a boxing fan.

whether you like defensive, technical fights or enjoy brutal, blood filled knockouts and ass whoppings, you are a boxing fan.

whether you enjoy talking about the sport in a business sense or like to discuss about boxer's strategy, you are a fan.

whether you have been watching boxing for 35 years or just started following it a week ago, then you are a fan.

even that creepy dominican pretending to be a gay pinoy is a boxing fan.

i don't know why you guys like to look down on everybody and think so highly of yourselves. you label yourself as real boxing fans and everybody else as being something less.

we all enjoy the sport, and as far as i am concerned here, we're all true boxing fans here

Whatever happened to him, it was enough for him to make an account based solely on insulting Filipinos, boxing-related or not. Sad.

Btw, guess who this is on YouTube:

real boxing fans like both pacquaio and mayweather, because despite what some faults people chose to pick and only focus on,they have had amazing careers and are amazing boxers who only come around once in a lifetime.

apreciate them, think yourselves lucky that you are alive when they are around!.

dont waste time hating and picking them apart for not being absolutely perfect.

wow, can't believe anyone would take the time to actually do something like that.

jesus gino, i sure hope you didn't just get owned by the pinoys here to warrant such hatred.

that would make you one pathetic mother ****er..

                      Example:

When Felix Trinidad fought Bernard Hopkins I hated Hopkins because of his big mouth. I wanted Tito to KO him bad.
As I watched the fight I was won over by the method, professionalism, and the art of boxing and strategy Hopkins was using against Tito. Thats a boxing fan.

If you have ever watched Floyd Mayweather box and take an opponent apart in slow motion and appreciate it..your a boxing fan

Basically to be able to appreciate the Art and science of boxing.
Honor, Warriors, Gifted fighters, Brawlers,Taking on all comers, Knockout artists, Incredible heart fighters...If you appreciate all aspects...your a boxing fan.

The only thing that disgraces you are fighters who disgrace the sport. Basically cheaters,Ped users, cherry picking, etc.

One can understand the money and politics of boxing but no need to agree with it as if the money is being placed in your pocket, you see it for what it is....thats a boxing fan.
This is a beautiful post & I agree with it completely........................except for the bolded, that's straight up owning Floyd.Funny thing is I think U meant it towards Pacman.

I have hbo & showtime, just for the fights. If there weren't any fights on there,I'd have basic cable & netflix alone.Come every weekend,I scroll through the channels, trying to get my fix,i love boxing, strictly for the fights,I have no interest in the business aspect, just the science,in all of it's different forms!!
