Can't blame the guy. He is simply trying to ride the wave a bit longer and take advantage of his position. Now, like I mentioned on another thread, he should forget about PAC 'cause that ain't happening. Now Cotto is VERY visible, think about it, Cotto comes out of Margo with a great victory and Sergio can offer him the 160 belt(at a catch-weight if necessary) and give both a good pay-day, gives cotto the opportunity of a fourth weight class and gives the fans a fight they would want to see. Cotto-Sergio sounds very real but PAC-Sergio isn't happening...

I think sergio knows he ain't getting cotto anytime soon. after mayorga is margarito.

then based on cotto's performance his career could go several ways. if cotto struggles against mayorga and margarito, then I see a rematch with mosley next. If cotto destroys mayorga and margarito, I see a rematch with pac, or a fight with wifebeater jr on the horizon.

martinez won't get his shot at cotto any time soon. martinez however, could fight mayorga after cotto to raise his own profile, but he'd have to do it on showtime or an independent PPV cause HBO won't buy it. dosesn't it suck to have a booking agent as a promoeter?

Yeah he is older but in boxing older and shot are not always tied together. Look at Hopkins and Vargas as examples.
