People please don't get your hopes up that Pacman will rematch Cotto at 154 because we all know Pacquaio loves his opponents with extra starch so it would be at 147 and Cotto will drain himself and get KTFO again and that's just the truth!

Catchweights or not, Cotto was never going to beat him with that kind of game plan that he had. As i've said before, there is not one Boxer from 140-147 who can exchange punches with Manny and come out on top. It's not impossible, but logically speaking, it's hard to see anyone beating him at his own game.

"Payaso Nicaraguense" - the words of Cotto! haha! I would rather see Cotto - Berto. That'd be a fantastic fight! my opinion.

Well said. Cotto should be able to handle Mayorga easily. Margarito will be a tough fight ( especially at a higher weight class which in my opinion gives Margarito an edge ) Only way Cotto beats Margarito is by outboxing him and not going back to his old habits. Pacquiao is a totally different story. Pac will destroy Cotto again just like the first time he needs to stay away from Pac and he will.

No way Jotto will beat Margarito and especially not Pac-Man! Same results; as usual Steward is talking out of his ASS. Just like at Jermaine Taylor!

I dont think it is out of the realm of possibilities for Cotto to beat Pac. To do so though he would need to demonstrate he has made the following changes:

The first one is easy, continue listening to Emmanuel Steward who it seems has decided to help push Cotto to his limits in terms of greatness. Team Cotto/Cotto's worst mistakes seemed to have come from having his relationship with Uncle E fall apart. This looked to cause a big shift to Cotto becoming more of a head hunter losing focus on the skills that took him to the top.

Number Two, Emmanuel seems to be really good at the jab as a basis for all offense and improving the right hand. Cotto needs to emphasize both. If he can do that and fight smart I see no reason he cant beat all the top guys...
