Hey Bob how about Berto in the summer (Margs is shot), Martinez in the fall (The real middle champ) and than a Pacman rematch next year? If he could somehow win those fights or even 2 of 3 Cotto would be close to the top again. But Cheato and Gordo Jr? They're just padding Cotto's record to be another Pacman opponent.

As a cotto fan, I can honestly say that if Cotto hooked it up with Berto, then a Martinez headliner I will have been satisfied with everything he's achieved in his career. The two rematches couldn't hurt either, albeit at 154 and up.

mw is no good for cotto...he'll be too short and probably pudgy too

panda isnt one to favor catchweights but in this case its not a bad idea for cotto-jr to be at 157

Cotto owns the local (PR) promotional events. It's not big time, but he's joint-venturing with Golden Boy on em. That alone seems to be more successful than Mayweather's enterprise. His focus is on providing a venue for the rising local talent. He's doing well in that sense.

            thats business though.
I said this the other day and got bashed by most PR's. Cotto is being set up and then will be fed to JCC jr. after the Margs fight. JCC jr. will beat a batttle worn Cotto at middleweight!!

I hope Cotto grows a pair and tells Arum to shove Chavez and his MW matchup up his ass.

I think its safe to say at this point that we won't be seeing Cotto at 147 again unless its against Pac or May, which IMO is a shame.

, so Arum wet dream is Cotto to beat Mayorga and Marg, Chavez to beat Zbik for the WBC MW title, Cotto to beat Chavez for the WBC MW title becoming the first Puerto Rican to win a title in 4 different weight-classes. And, then have Pac challenge Cotto(more than likely at a catch-weight between 154-160) for his 9 title in 9 weight-classes?

                    Sounds about right.
