You aren't even a Floyd fan and I'm not either. But even you admit Mosley got robbed against Cotto. Come on, you're better than this Pull.

Cotto won the Shane fight did he not, as did Floyd again what is your point? Cotto actually has faced WW's do I really need to keep going? Floyd isn't going to be walking anyone down because he doesn't have the power than Pac or Shane have its that simple, but I'm done arguing with a ***** is a wasted use of my time.

shots and Floyd still finished the round strong and then opened
up the clinic on Mosley from round 3 on. Cotto got saved by
the referee when Mosley had him in trouble to stop and clean up
some water on the canvas. Cotto didn't get rocked like Floyd
did by Shane and Cotto still couldn't convincingly beat Mosley
and Cotto hit Shane with everything and began to back peddle
the 2nd half of the fight while Floyd kept coming and dinging up
Mosley. Not saying alot of Cotto to have not been hurt as bad
as Floyd but he couldn't dominate Shane like Floyd did who did
get rocked in the early part of the fight. shane NEVER took
control after whereas Cotto let Mosley come on strong the
2nd half and still have people debating on Cotto's greatest
win to this day. I believe Cotto did enough to win but the
same can be said about Shane. Sure Cotto fought Mosley in
07 but Shane avoided Floyd since Shane was at 135 and Floyd
was at 130 moving up. don't believe me? Well just ask Floyd
after his win over Henry Bruseles (Cotto's friend and sparring
partner who was trained by Evangelista Cotto himself. Same
guy who trained Cotto).
With the win (Henry Bruseles), Mayweather sets up a proposed June bout with WBC champion Arturo Gatti, assuming Gatti gets past James Leija next weekend. Mayweather, however, seems to be looking to bigger and better things.
"I'm told that [Shane] Mosley and [Oscar] De La Hoya are going to 147," Mayweather said. "I plan to join them there."
in denial and hasn't been following the sport of boxing for long
AT ALL.

call or almost being KO'd but still dominating leaving no room for disputes?
After the Mosley fight Cotto didn't even want a rematch. With Floyd.
No need.

Mosley is way more at fault for that fight with Floyd not happening when it should've than the other way around even though kind of had a different opinion about it after Mosley beat Collazo and all that.

All I'm saying is that cotto was never hurt or in danger of getting KTFO, while wifebeater was holding on for dear life because he was almost KTFO 2x.

had a chance against Floyd and Arum knew that. I think Cotto
could have been a great fighter but dude relied too much on his
power and pressure. when he started fighting guys who can take
his punch and back him down, Cotto started back peddling big time.
I watched some pretty good Cotto fights but I never saw him as
a threat to Floyd. Always called it to be a beat down similiar to
Gatti, Corrales and Ndou. If Cotto had someone like Emmanuel
Steward prior teaching him some technical boxing fundamentals
and adjustments, then he would have been something. My thing
is, if Cotto is that great of a fighter, how come with his big advantage
in boxing skill couldn't get him the win over Margarito? I'm not
even talking about plaster because if Cotto studied Margarito
and didn't depend solely on his power then he would have been
able to stop Margarito without taking much damage. Cotto didn't
even get off no body punches and that is his best punch. Cotto
had/has power and pressure but not too good ring generalship
and drop of a hat ring adjustments. Floyd pummels him back
then and now. I think that is the biggest disappointment for me
was that they didn't fight back then, but my bet would have
been on Floyd. Not too confident on betting on a guy (Cotto)
who wasn't ready for Floyd, when Floyd was ready winning
a title coming up from 135 in Cotto's division, which was 140.
People give Margarito and Cotto too much credit by saying Floyd
ducked them. If Floyd was so easy to beat then all the big names
he called out, when he was at 130 and 135 would have been lining up
to fight him.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 01-22-2011, 09:26 PM.
