It is generally understood in the boxing world that Cotto beat Mosley. "Most people" don't think it was a draw. The vast majority of the world know that it was a close but clear decision.

And I love how people act like this is the first time Cotto has said Floyd's name. Cotto said things like this a ton back in 2007. When Mayweather was beating the #1 & #3 WW's...Cotto was fighting @140.....Cotto could never beat Mayweather..lol.. He has been knocked down and beat up by wayy lesser fighters...why on earth would you think he represents any kind of significant challenge to Floyd? Cotto is soooo easy to hit. DLH is a converted Southpaw just like Cotto but Cotto doesnt have the boxing skill of Oscar, his right hand, jab, and telegraphed left hook would be taken away and he would be embarrassed.

Miguel Cotto is looking to fight the biggest names in the sport. He made a promotional appearance on a radio program in Puerto Rico and told the host that he was interested in facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the end of the year. Cotto defends his WBA junior middleweight crown against Ricardo Mayorga on March 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. If Cotto is victorious, he will face Antonio Margarito in a June rematch.

Mayweather ducked Cotto in the past when Cotto was hot. Now Cotto is ruined so will Mayweather agree to fight him at last ? I don't think so , Mayweather didn't get any younger himself and will continue seeking easier fights to showcase his "greatness" .

In my opinion Cotto would be thoroughly out boxed. Would of liked to see this fight before Margs made Cotto take a knee.

The fight I would like to see after Cotto disposes of Mayorga, would be against Margarito....the would be exciting and with the questionable history of their conflict, something people would want to see....Cotto needs to avenge that loss, badly.
