naw man im just asking..you are telling me he got tired..but i didnt see it

so i want a confirmation from team Mosley...just cause you think he was tired doesnt mean he was....Mosley himself said he just got outboxed....

do i think he was tired? yes...do i think he was too tired to throw punches naw?...like i said he had 9 fights before Mayweather and went the distance...why all of a sudden he gets tired in 2 rounds vs Mayweather?

    • Pointless fight for Floyd. There's no way in hell he's beating Cotto as badly as Pacquaio did, so its a lose-lose siuation.

I'd prefer him to take a tune up to shake off the ring rust (AGAIN), then Andre Berto assuming he gets by Victor Ortiz, and then Pacquiao, then Sergio Martinez, then retirement. Sounds like a good plan to me. If he remains undefeated after all of that then he is without a doubt one of the greatest fighters.

Though i don't see him beating floyd who has shown he is very adept at smothering the left hook of any fighter, and additionally he is longer......once he get's his distance figured out i think he takes Cotto's jab away.

Also i think what we saw against Shane is not a good sign for what could happen if Cotto fights him. Floyd stood right in front of Shane and countered him hard.....he fought him and pressured him. Floyd is accurate and Cotto's chin is questionable IMO.

I view Floyd as being faster, more skilled and more durable.

The key for Cotto is body shots and the jab.
i agree, if cotto cant touch him to the body he doesnt have much of a chance of winning for many of the reasons you pointed out

I think it was the stage! Cotto and Margs were big fights but fighting Floyd was like being back in his prime. That win could have put him back in that P4P best conversation again! Erased all those losses from peoples minds. i think that that pressure got to him and when he had Floyd hurt, he went in too hard and it was over for him

          • A prime Cotto would have been outboxed by Mayweather Jr.

Cotto, now, will just get a one sided beatdown.

            "Damaged good" comes to mind.

            • Pointless Bullsh##. Notice how Cotto talks about a fight with Floyd, which won't happen, instead of a fight with Berto, which would far more likely. And LOL at Cotto pretending the Cotto vs Marg contracts for the fall aren't already written.

And at the end of the day floyd doesnt get that respect because he hasnt challenged himself in the way other fighters have. thats just my opinion
I read this stuff alot and never post...but people that disrespect Floyd's resume are insane to me. No disrespect to you but floyd's resume includes Mosley (who people said he was scared to fight), marquez, oscar, hatton (who people said he was scared to fight), Judah, gatti, Genaro Hernadez, Jesus Chavez, Castillo twice, a MUCH bigger lightweight in Chico Corrales. AT LEAST 6 hall of famers in that list. 7 if Gatti gets in. So for anyone to say he's scared to step in the ring and lace up those gloves when he was only bigger than TWO of those guys on fight night has a fraudulent opinion. Respect the sport and a hall of fame fighter.

P.S. I respect all fighters not a ***** or any of these otheer childish names people have created, I just respect what a champion of his caliber has done. Many fighters have taken their time to fight other premier opponents. Namely SRL making Hagler wait and Tyson stringing out Holyfield. Peace.

                      O.o BWAHAHAHA!!!!!

Floyd couldn't even walked down Marquez you think he is going to "beat down" Cotto? The four rounds Cotto was in the fight with Manny was/is and always will be harder than going through 3 fights with Floyd.
