yeah he most likely gets thoroughly out boxed but its a safe, big money fight fight for him. he doesn't have to worry about floyd beating him up bad since floyd doesn't have alot of power.

As far as Im concerned its a good fight for both of them. It has the makings of a good but not great fight and there is alot of money for both.
It has casual fan appeal and hardcore fan appeal.
Floyd dont look like he is taking easy fight or "cherry picking" and Cotto as usual still taking on all comers deserves and gets his BIG payday(win or lose dont matter).

Of course you can throw the hate in for good measure.
Cotto is shot. Floyd knows he can win easily. etc etc.
But its still a good fight.

This is a ****ty ass fight that I have no desire to see. Floyd doesn't fight damaged goods like Frauduiao, he's better than that. Mayweather Cotto should've happened when Floyd Ko Hatton and Cotto beat Mosley, it's meaningless now.

naw bro, i never said or meant to say i thought mayorga & margo are preparation or tune-ups for floyd, i just said fighting all 3 of those guys in a year is good.


mayorga is set, **** has been talked, so its just a matter of time.
margarito gave him his first loss, and a bad one at that. it would be dope to see him avenge his loss.
mayweather, well they were suppose to fight, and it would be another name on their records, for each other. plus, with steward, it could be interesting (still think floyd takes UD)
THAT or he could fight berto instead of floyd in late 2011. either of those fights would be good, i think cotto would take a decision against berto like he did against mosley, idk why but i just see that fight turning out like that.

i dont get why ppl still talk about floyd ducking cotto. when did this happen??? was there ever any serious negotiations for them to fight??? or was there a constant cold war between arum and floyd up until the may/pac negotiations??? ppl love to come on here and repeat the ******ity they read and hear without knowing the true facts. floyd didnt duck cotto. should he have fought him??? i think so...but at the only time there was a real shot at the fight happening (at 140), cotto's team were not keen on it.

according to u guys definition of ducking, manny might as well be called a duck for not fighting berto.
