After the second fight won by Manny via a split decision, he was invited to visit the Philippines as a friend and guest and do a commercial for a beer company and get paid. What he did was continue insulting Manny in front of his countrymen which according to Arum was so pathetic and disgusting. When the first negotiation between Manny and Floyd collapsed, Marquez name was floated around as a possible opponent for Manny. Marquez did a complete and perfect impression of Floyd. He demanded a 50/50 purse and OST. Now that Marquez is in the twilight of his carrer he wants a golden parachute for his retirement and he realized that nobody can give it to him but Manny. He made demands as if he is supposed to run the show and Manny simply has to follow. He is acting as if he is the cash cow and it is his right and privilege to command Manny. Well, if I'm Manny, I will simply tell him to go to hell. You don't deserve a third fight.
