You seem to be making the assertion that big hands alone don't make you a threat, in which case you'd be right. Naturally, speed, skill and heart are far more important. All things being equal, however, I think that big hands/fists do make a difference. Would you rather get hit with a brick, or with a baseball? So have i,but it doesn't really make THAT big a difference in an actual fight man! Like i said, how big were Tysons and Marciano's hands? Punching power is determed by speed and weight lol not hand size! The guys with big paws are usually slower and more akward in my experiences! I think size can make a difference in a fight, but the size of a mans heart and will is usually the only one that matters most, and like i said, speed kills,i haven't seen many guys with huge hands who have blazing speed! :P
Equating large extremities with awkwardness or slowness is really stretching it, in my opinion. I remember commentators at the last summer Olympics saying that tall runners usually didn't sprint as fast as shorter runners. (A notion that bears some similarity to what you're saying.) Then came Usain Bolt (6'5"), who blew away all the old 100 meter dash records.Comment
