although its true that marquez is probably more "deserving" than shane, i think the weight disparity at this point is gonna be too much.

I gotta disagree with roach on that one, that jmm fight is a joke. I think roach probably just wants to shut him up cause he knows dude will probably end up leaving on a stretcher and that will knock that ****** tshirt right off his back for good. I hope to god we don't have to waste a fight on this, between berto and bradley and alexander there are too many options that just sound a lot better. What other mentality is there to have. Manny Pacquaio is fighting a third consecutive opponent that is basically coming off a loss. Clottey was coming off a loss to a guy Pac had just KO'd. Margarito was coming off a KO loss to Mosley. And now Mosley is coming off a draw with Sergio friggin Mora. If you deem that acceptable for the so-called P4P King, fine. That's your opinion and voice it by ordering the fight. If you're like myself and see it as a disgrace, don't order it. Who Roach so-called wanted him to fight is irrelevant. The excuses as to why Pac won't fight an elite fighter are irrelevant.

My feelings about a Mayweather-Pacquaio are about the same as your's were about 2.5 years ago. Let it marinate.

As for who he should have fought instead of Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. JMM has probably taken .75% of the 24 rounds he and Pac habe fought. He's still a consensus top 5 P4P. He's a great opponent. Pac fought Margarito for a vacant belt at 154. Martinez is willing to fight him at 154. That seems like a logical fight. Mosley would have been logical around the time Pac fought Clottey. But at the time, Team Pacquaio wanted no part of it.
