It's not fair. If Winky says yes just because it's the most he ever made then it would be bad for boxing. Then people like Tito would try to give people 2 mill. , then 1 mill and it would get lower and lower. Winky is a man first and just because you offer him more then he's ever made doesnt mean that he should take it when Tito is getting more then triple the amount. The only way he can change that is by stepping up with a win or big performance against tito. If he dont want to do that then how is he a man when he is gonna turn down a BIG money fight (beacuse it is a big money fight) where he could turn out to make history and a legacy for himself.

winky is making a big mistake here...he's an excellent fighter alright...but not an exciting fighter...and a small ppv asset...it will take him years to make that money...let alone get the same offer again...as for tito, it's all business and he is fully aware of the value that he brings to the game.he's just trying to make the most of every opportunity he gets.

if this fight happens, i would go for tito in a late round stoppage or a ud.

Tito is nothing but a FORMER champ who beat blown up bum in his comeback fight. If he want's to keep making moneyfighting bums go ahead. Winky will know in his heart that he did the right thing and that's all that matters. If tito really believes that he is as good as all his fans think he is, prove it! Tito is used to making 8+ million. Why should he take a pay cut from the Mayorga fight (10 mil) to fight Winky? If Winky doesn't want to earn 3 Mil then he can take his ass back to Jr. Middle and handle his titles there. If he wants to step up (and he is the one challenging Tito because of the increase in weight) then he has to be willing to take the lower end of the bargain. Don't expect Tito to take a pay cut just to fight Winky when he can earn just as much fighting Sturm or Taylor. If Taylor was offered 3 Mil I'm sure he'd take it.
