Ya no ****. Any real boxing fan knows this, just like they know either one of them would've beat the hell out of the Klitchkos.

You can assume all you want, but there is no such thing as "proof" in fantasy land...Sorry.

i've always thought prime ali would handle prime tyson.

even when i was a kid and tyson was killing everyone and tyson looked invincible.

the styles favor ali. boxer vs. puncher.

their strengths and weakness favor ali.

tyson's strength was his punching power and handspeed but ali had a granite chin and speed as well.

ali's strength was his speed combined with his length. tyson's weakness was fighters who use their length and had movement.

everyone always tried to say "oh frazier gave ali hell , so tyson would have as well."

that very well may be but tyson doesn't fight like frazier. they're both shorter heavyweights but they didn't fight the same way.

I had this discussion many years ago, when Mike Tyson was in his prime, with a friend of mine who used to write for "KO" magazine. He favored Tyson in that match-up, citing his power in both hands and unusual hand speed. He contested that Joe Frazier had given Muhammad Ali all he could handle, and that Tyson hit harder. My response was simply that Ali would find a way to win. History would back my sentiment. I believe that Tyson's career, from the Buster Douglas fight on, is evidence that there's no way he could challenge Ali's indomitable will. Tyson would not have been able to intimidate Ali (Sonny Liston, Frazier and George Foreman couldn't). He would not have been able to knock Ali out early (too fast, too skilled, too smart, too tough). Ali would've taken Tyson into deep waters and finished him late, or possibly have won on a UD.

That's not proof ****knuckle, there is no proof in a 'fantasy' fight hence the name 'fantasy' fight, whatyou just said could be done the same vice versa, I just watched a poor fighter in Sonny Banks knock down Ali, therefor Tyson def would have knocked him down and finished him or I just watched a average fighter in Cooper knock him down and Ali needed smelling salts to recover, if that was in Tyson's era where salts were made illegal Ali wouldn't have the had that chance to recover if Tyson got to him like Cooper did and he would be done.

Btw I think Ali beats Tyson but at least bring a good argument, don't try and say 'proof' when it is clearly not.

My proof that Tyson would have wonis in the clip below fast forward to 0:55 when Cus starts sparring with Ali and look at how that kind of bothered Ali:

And of course this is the closest style comparison that Ali fought to compare to Mike:

mike had very good skills and great talent but ali would have found a way to beat him.

it would not be easy and ali wouldn't ko mike (unless mike gassed or got cut or something) but i think ali wins a decision.

                and no....tyson wouldn't intimidate ali.

ali fought and beat the 3 tyson's of 3 different eras.

liston , frazier and foreman were the tyson's of the early 60's , late 60's and early 70's.

There shouldn't be any doubt that Tyson has little chance against Ali. Really the only chance he has is a big punch.

People who say Tyson would win always bring up Frazier, but Tyson didn't fight like Frazier. Tyson always loved to sit at mid-range and explode on his opponents, whereas Frazier gave Ali so much trouble because he cut him off against the ropes and stayed in his chest whenever possible. Tyson would not be able to explode on Ali with any consistent success, and would lose a lopsided decision.
