WBC silver middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (41-0, 30KOs) has to take care of business on January 29 in Culiacán, Mexico, when he faces American boxer Billy Lyell at Estadio Banorte. Chavez has vowed to win in order to further the negotiations for a possible title fight with unbeaten Sebastian Zbik (30-0, 10KOs). Chavez is now the mandatory challenger to Zbik, who was elevated to full champion status by the WBC on Tuesday.
