Was Lennox Lewis Overrated?

Don't think he is quite overrated as he is deservedly under appreciated. The fact of the matter is he ducked Vlad for outrageous money. That will be my lasting memory of Lennox as well as many boxing fans.

He ducked him because of this IMO. First of all, this fight would've been hyped up so much. And it was a risk for Lewis. He wasnt young anymore and wouldve fought a guy who was bigger and stronger which was rare for him. Say he lost, he would have to fight him again. He just didnt want to go through all the drama and what not. His heart wasnt in it anymore.

In answer to the poll, yes he is overrated. I'd still place him in the top 8-12 top heavyweights ever, but way too many people have him in their top 5. That's just silly in my opinion.

the guy deserved more respect than he got.
even when he beat his opponents jerks would put him down and all that gay **** talk.why should he of kept on fighting.
