Question for those who dislike Amir Khan...

Will you have respect for him should he fight/beat the winner of B vs A ?

I ask because having read some people’s posts on here, i am amazed at the negative comments made about him.

Now i am indifferent, a good performance is a good performance in my book, as a good fighter is a good fighter.

I had big questions regarding AK’s chin, and was very, very impressed with how he answered that question against Maidana – the hardest hitting boxer at 140

So, I ask, what exactly has Khan done wrong here?!

I struggle to comprehend why people would continue to abuse other than to evoke argument in the comfort of their own homes. Childish, eh?

Please, genuinely, what is your problem with Amir Khan?

Me personally have absolutely no problem with Khan,I'll be baffled by anyone who can find a top fighter at 140(to simply not like)!!I was in a bit of a shootout with some of his fans yesterday, but that wasn't because i don't like him. That was because some were saying he's the best fighter & putting down Alexander to try & prove it.

140 is 1 of the best in boxing right now.Bradley,Alexander,Maidana & Khan are staking out territory,to call 1 better than the rest is definitely premature right now.Them boys are battling each other & when the smoke clear 1 will be #1.When the clear top fighter is known, then a fan can claim he's the best, but until then, don't **** on other fighters to try & promote ur own, especially when Ur fighter has been ko'd by a lightweight.

To be honest I find it really hard to not like Khan. The kid has incredible talent and he isn't afraid.

Most likely he will fight the winner of Bradley/Alexander and that will be a big fight. I would order it on PPV for sure.

I don't think it should be on PPV. Neither have PPV appeal just yet i don't think. They need a couple of big defining wins first

Agree with all that, except the last bit. KO'd when he was weight-drained at 135. Oh, and i don't think Khan is #1 at 140, but he's definitely #2 above Alexander. Sorry, but beating Maidana + Kotelnik > anything Alexander has done. BUT, if Alexander beats Bradley i'll give him props, and he will be #1 at 140, but he should fight Khan after that, NOT JMM

So what ur saying is the even if Alexander beats Bradley,he still isn't higher than Khan.I don't understand that so You'll have to explain that further.Call it weight drained or whatever U like, but my point wasn't to put him down,it was comparing bad nights, both fighters have had them,so U can't judge Alexander's on his but completely overlook Khan's.

I am a huge Khan fan, so I know this isn't directed at me, but beating Maidana is like beating 2 Alexanders and 3 Bradley's. Khan is better than both of those guys, so while beating them will earn him more respect from me, he doesn't need to beat them to get it.

Those are both KO's for Khan, IMO. Khan is so much faster than those guys it's ridiculous... They will look amateur in the ring with Khan. Those guys are B fighters, Khan is world class.

I think Khan is a very good fighter will all of the talent in the world..however, one qualm I do have with him is that I think he should avenge his loss to Prescott. Clearly is a totally different fighter since teaming with Roach and moving up to 140, but still, getting KO'd in under a minute is getting KO'd in under a minute no matter how you look at it. I was very impressed with his win over Maidana who is as tough as they come. He was literally out on his feet for the entire 10th round, I have no idea how he stayed up. He showed a ton of heart and a much improved chin. However, it will be interesting to see him fight someone with similar boxing skills since Maidana's only real chance at winning that fight was by KO.

But i would like the winner of Alexander to fight Khan (if he beats Bradley) as opposed to JMM - wouldn't you?
