Even if that's true (which it is) wouldn't you admit that Cotto got controversial decision wins over Mosley and Clottey? The general consensus among Cotto fans to their credit is most of them do think that Cotto barely beat Clottey. But a lot of them claim he beat Shane Mosley convincingly. Now I'm going by what Cotto said, he said close decision wins. He sounds a little more humble than some of his fans.

They were both close, but Cotto did beat Mosley clearly... and as for Clottey, Cotto had a bad gash over his eye, he kept fighting & clottey stopped punching in the championship rounds so Cotto won.
