It's true! I guarantee if and when Mayweather fights Manny
and beats him, the only people that will be discrediting Pacquiao
is Pac fans because I for one already see Pac losing by shut out.
Pacquiao to me is a good fighter but he hasn't been showing us
how well he has improved since JMM by beating guys Roach
carefully selected and shifted everything handicap wise in his
favor. Cotto was the champ and Manny made him defend
his title won at 147 from Clottey at 145? How can that be
considered a great feat when Pac already fought prior at WW
against Oscar? Everyone that said Floyd would lose to a fighter,
they lost instead and right after became shot. Same will
happen to Pac because people don't like Floyd more than
they love Pac.

The De La Hoya fight was like a catchweight in its self because Oscar had been fighting at 154. And Roach had said he thought Oscar couldn't pull the trigger any more after watching the Forbes fight, that's why they took that fight. He asked for Cotto at 145 because Cotto was a bigger threat at the time than Oscar. To me that goes against the traditions in boxing. I don't believe they used catchweights back in the old days, but thats just a guess. And because of it, it makes it hard to accept Pac winning titles in 8 divisions because he did it in a different way they had to do it back then.

There's no doubt Pac fans will discredit Pac or make excuses if Mayweather ever fights him and beats him. The obvious one being thrown around already is that Mayweather waited for Pac to get old, but in reality all Pac had to do was agree to the 14 day cut off that he is so willing to accept now. This fight could have happened already. God forbid Cortez referees the fight, that will be another excuse there. lol

If Mayweather-Pacquaio happens, Pac will join a growing list of fighters Mayweather was at one time ducking, avoiding, scare of, going to lose to, blah, blah, blah, that he's now criticized for fighting.

Dan Rafale at one time criticized Mayweather for going through with his fight with Judah and avoiding the real welterweight champ in Baldomir. Yet, he later criticized Money for fight what he termed, "9 Loss" Baldomir.

The Ring magazine ran a cover story that Mayweather was going to the welterweight division in order to avoid Hatton. Yet now, he's criticized for KO'ing the same Hatton.

Bert Sugar once proclaimed JMM the most dangerous opponent Mayweather could fight after a two year layoff, even more dangerous than Pac. Yet, after the fight he criticized Mayweather for fighting him.

After Mosley jumped in Mayweather's face after the JMM fight. All of Mayweather's haters were screaming to everyone that would listen that Money was scared of Mosley. 8 months later, Mosley became old, shot, etc, etc, etc.

The best way to become irrelevant in today's boxing world is to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. Instead of his critics accepting that this guy is great, they simply downplay and **** on everyone he fights. Unfortunately and unfairly for Pac, he'll likely suffer the same fate. If Mayweather beats him, people won't be able to bring themselves to accept that Mayweather can fight. They'll simply say Pac was a media creation that was never as good as advertised and simply move on to the next hope for the Please Kick Floyd Mayweather's Ass fan club which will probably be Sergio Martinez.

I think Mayweather is just too accurate and precise. They knew
everytime they made a move that Floyd was going to hit them on

That is all very true, but Mayweather fans don't help anything by discrediting Pac and calling him the catch weight king and all his recent wins over guys coming off of bad performances. When Mayweather beats Pac, will they claim it a great victory? You better bet they will even though they've ran Pac's name into the ground for years now. At the end all the hating for either fighter doesn't help anything.

At the end of the day.. we have two modern day ATG fighters. Arguably, the best offensive fighter vs the best defensive fighter of this generation.. It will not be easy for either fighter.

knowledge didn't Floyd shut both of them southpaws down?

Alot of people hit harder than Mayweather but the fact still
remains that he hasn't been knocked out and he still holds
double digit KO's on his record and dominate punchstats.
Mayweather is on vacation because Manny didn't want
to take the blood tests. So easy for Pac fans to forget this
very important fact as to why this fight didn't happen almost
a year ago. Cotto, Clottey and Margarito all have one thing
in common "NO DEFENSE" or adjustments in the ring. Your

Unlike you and many others. I pay attention to facts and details.
Pac walked away from the first negotiations so don't try to forget
that. The fight was as good as done until Pac walked away from the
table over random blood tests because he couldn't know exactly when
they were coming to test?
