prescott may have lost to k mitchel but he still knocked the hell out of khan. a great champion avenges his losses. should he come up short he still gets the credit for going after it. khan is no great champion. the coward will never get in the ring with prescott.he watched the tape and said no way.
If only Prescott didn't lose to C-level fighters after he beat Amir.
To be fair, Mitchell is a very good fighter. Losing to Katsidis for him was a disaster, imo. He was controlling that fight and then he got taken out clinically.
The issue with Prescott is, against Mitchell in particular he looked like he basically couldn't box. He looked like a rank amateur against an opponent who looked at least two weight classes smaller and whom was fighting from the outside despite his physical inferiority. Prescott: No jab. No idea. No nothing.
Khan should fight Prescott. But let's be honest, he is almost not good enough for it to be an issue.
as much as i think amir has moved on past prescott but lennox avenged both his defeats....perhaps amir should just bust that nobody up properly to shut him up ....but its still lose/lose....even if he does a job...the h8rs will moan about how prescott is shot...fk it....take it amir and knock him out!

Replace that 'o' in shot to an 'i' and you'll have what the haters will say.
Can't really blame Prescott for trying to talk himself the fight. But lets see if it works!
I don't think this is the right time to be facing Prescott for Khans development. Amir needs to be mixing it with different types of styles because that will help him develop more, thats why I thought Peterson would have been a good match-up and a good learning curve for Khan!
Everyone expects Khan to fight big punchers in every single fight and if he doesn't he gets ripped for a having a weak chin and 'ducking'. Maybe he needs redemption by facing Prescott again but I don't think that one loss is going to define his career.
The problem is that Khan has a defined plan for what he wants to do and Prescott doesn't feature. Unless Sky turn down McCloskey this fight can't happen any time soon.
