Margarito landed a good percentage of power punches, but he didn't land that many of them. 135.

    Not that impressive.

Even so, Shane Mosley isn't going to throw or land a fraction of that amount. So even if Manny is "easy to hit" - which he clearly isn't - I doubt that 70 power shots landed by Shane Mosley are going to have the same effect that a 135 landed by a bigger Margarito are going to have even.[/QUOTE]

margarito is not a power puncher, he is not a buzzing puncher, he is more of a

thudding puncher where he needs his punches to add up....plus he doesnt use

    plaster anymore since being caught...

shane has buzzing and staggering power in both hands...

will he knock pac out? who knows, but his power can negate some of what

pac wants to do and when.

this fight will be much better than people think.

as long as shane does not overtrain and gas early it will be competitive.

shane has to punch sparingly and be smart conserving energy

pacs goal will be to move and keep shane moving to tire him out and land

    and score with flurries

it shall be a good matchup

Pump you need to fix that B hop quote...
he said "Pac has never fought a slick African American fighter"...
Not "top notch" .....and Mosley is not, nor has never been slick..so
let's not try to make it seem that Pac is facing a slick fighter...that he is not.

the difference between b-hop and pac is that b-hop didn't let his opposition come in at catch weight when he went up in weight..he fought them at their weight. And he's not after fighters who came from a big loss.

I don't even think you watched the fight because b hop should of won the last fight against a guy half his age..while pacquiao is gonna be facing granpa mosley in his next fight which will also be floyds 3rd leftover

If you want the meaning of "dropped" then all you have to do is watch this clip..b-hop never looked this bad in his entire career so don't compare a catch weight fraud with the great executioner

here enjoy the meaning of dropped.

He knocked down MARQUEZ 3 times in a single round. Hatton only lost 1 before PAC destroyed him better than FLOYD did.
Cotto was no faded champ? How did he look coming in? What has he accomplished SINCE? Did they even fight at 147?

Margarito has not won a meaningful fight in HOW long?

Hatton was knocked out by Floyd.

Mosley has not won a fight in over two years.

Pac is king of scraping the bottom of the barrel. Every guy pac has faced was recently KO'd or dominated. TRUE STORY.

What was the landing rate on Mayweather in his last two fights?

everybody gets hit. its boxing. if you are a great offensive fighter, chances are you get hit because you throw punches. You cant have everything. If you have super great defense, chances are you dont throw as much punches as the fans want & isnt as entertaining. You cant be both a defensive wizard & a offensive machine at the same time. Its impossible. You have to sacrifice something.

If you want to be more offensive, you will have to sacrifice a little defense. If you want to be more defensive you will have to sacrifice a little offence.

Man, for a niche sport such as boxing, it has some very hard to please fans.
