    cotto vs mayweather

had they fought after floyd knocked out hatton and cotto beat mosley, this fight would have been huge. unify the wbc and wba titles. both unbeaten and in their prime. cotto had been on ppv back to back times vs judah and mosley. he also was a prooven seller by filling up the garden on both occassions. but ****ing floyd retired. if he would have fought cotto and beaten him, he could have walked away looking really, really good.

Personally if I was Cotto if he beats Mayorga he should just call Floyd out and make it happen.

Does not really matter if Cotto wins or loses,,,,huge fight huge payday and Im sure Cotto would take his tests.

Even if he loses Margarito fight will always be there.

the thought at that time would of been nice. but floyds a ***** . no jeopardizing that "0", so too bad it didnt happen then. if it happens now it wont be as hyped up or exciting. and there will be endless excuses for the fite happening on both sides.

obviously this is was THE FIGHT and would have done oscar vs tito numbers blame Arum for this fight not happening Cotto was his bread and butter and he wouldn't have put him in the ring with Floyd specially when he has a talentless hype job Margarito on his stable to feed Cotto.

This was the fight I've wanted to see for years. Would of been a huge fight. However Bob Arum wanted no part of it.

i feel u on that note. u think arum is more to blame then floyd?? this fight like u said would have brought in big numbers. we all know arum is all for inhouse fights. he lives for them but i think if the money is right, he will mingle with another promoter. or do u think the split with him and floyd had more 2 do with it? i asked that because the 3 fighters people say mayweather should have fought but didnt are all top rank fighters. margarito, cotto and now pacquiao.

Floyd wins 12-0 or KO's Cotto, easy fight for Floyd, no need for the fight to happen because we all know Floyd beats him anyways, so why botherr. Floyd has not lost a single fantasy fight yet
