Back when Italians were new to the states and could only make money by getting punched in the face a lot - for some reason, we seem to be good at taking lots of punishes in the face repeatedly and without going down, probably all the carbs - there was a girth of all time great Italian-American fighters.

There were also some ***ish American fighters and Irish American fighters, but Italians dominate the white portion of American boxing.

na vanes dont count. **** id go with malignaggi. only loses are to a prime cotto, he lost to hatton and a lost to a prime amir khan. oh he technically lost to juan diaz but he got jerked imo. plus he got to avenge that lost. pavlik was the ring, wbc, wbo middleweight champion. beat taylor 2x but didnt do **** after. lost to bhop at 170 and then got busted up by martinez. who do u rank higher paulie or pavlik???
