it makes sense to run when you just woke up in the morning first than have sparring session at 5 in the morning.

Potatos? These are fans, not boxers themselves... Cut some slack buddy.

        Whats your theory anyways?

Mine is this, you get to the last round of a big fight, your losing, your coach is sayin push yourself for this last round. Youve not been running like you should, there for when your coach/trainer says push the fight for this last round, you mentally give up as your not used to pushing the bounderies your body was made to be pushed to. The guy in the other corner has been up at 5.30 everyday for 8 weeks, hes mentally prepared to go this last round as he has been pushing himself for 8weeks anyways and thinks f.uck it, only one last push, this is easy. He is mentally strong and knocks you the f.uck out in that last round.

        Just my thaughts.

Boxers feel it gives them a mental edge over there opponents knowing they are still in bed.

Less pollution is in the air in the morning, meaning it's better for your lungs to run early.

Nobody is around early in the morning so less obstacles in the way.

The air is fresh, and the tempatures are low, meaning it makes perfect time to run in the morning.

It is ******. They should sleep as much as they need. Just a bad tradition waiting to be broken.
