Holyfield will beat Haye. They won't risk it.

What makes you think that? I'm a Holyfield fan but I have no illusions that he'd be able to beat Haye. Evander is shot to pieces and would be KTFO badly by Haye.

As to the thread topic, I'd love to see Boytsov face Haye. Boytsov's younger than Haye (yeh!) and has decent power and boxing skills but relatively untested.

I wonder how this piece of 'news' gets through the boxingscene editorial filter. By the looks of it this thread is one that could be made by any speculative boxingscene poster.

Boytoy is hurt. He wont fight Haye, also, being WBA mandatory, if Wlad and Haye do fight, that would set Boytoy up for a shot at the winner, which im sure means more money, or in the EXTREMELY unlikely case that Haye won and retired, boytoy would have a good chance at competing for the vacant title and he could become champ by facing Povetkin/Chagaev instead of Haye or Wlad. So Boytoy isnt an option, his management isnt dumb. By waiting he not only gets healthy but gets in a better position.

Chagaev is dying of Hep B...he'd be easy prey for Haye, but Haye doesnt want tof ight him outside of jolly ol england.

Povetkin wont fight Haye, come on, we all know he is focusing on the olympics.

So, if Im reading this right, the WBA would rather Haye fought Ustinov, whose best win is Monte Barrett, (next up if Ustinov declined would probably be Dimitrenko as Rahman is probably fighting Adamek last I heard. If Dimi keeps falling down prior to fights or if Sosnowski beats him, I guess Mormeck would be up). so again, if I am understanding this right, the WBA would rather haye fought Mormeck or Ustinov, rather than wait an extra 2 months and fight Wlad/Chisora.

chagaev sucks...he had a decent win vs valuev & ruiz..other then that he didnt beat anyone...he got a gift vs drumond & an asskicking by wlad.i got all of chagaevs fightsn& hes the most overrrated hw in a long time...if haye is a ducker then why did chagaev defend vs matt skelton instaed of a legit heavyweight? he would be such a great champion...he aint ducking chagaev.everyone knows that chagaev cant get a license anywhere outside germany so if you think you are a clarvoyant....boytsov hasnt beaten anyone other then gavern & maddalone.canadian champ neven pajkic has done that too so give him a shot...

haye should just fight wlad in july.. wlad wanst the fight, just doesnt want to wait until july without fighting inbetween. if haye realy thinks wlad is a coward he needs to call his bluff. until then haye is just another contender in my opinion
