I hope Ortiz can get his head together and knock berto out cold, nothing would make me happier than seeing the fraud that us Berto in a real fight...I just don't if Ortiz has it left in him anymore to get into a war.

I would live nothing more than to see berto humiliated...I hope it comes soon

Not hating on Soto-K, but man, he only looked good in the Mike Jones fight because Mike bombed out in the 2nd round AND fought like ****.
The rematch shouldn't even been on HBO. It's going to be an easy fight for MJ.
And, when has Vic Ortiz looked good? When he was going on his senior citizen tour?

Cmon man. Let's be real here.

Ortiz is three times more of a dynamic fighter than Soto-Karass. (Not knocking S-K, he's a good fighter) But he's very basic and only has about one way to win. PRESSURE. He had an absolutely exhausted Mike Jones who froze under the spotlight AND Soto-Karass still couldn't pull it off.

Berto isn't much of a pressure fighter and Ortiz can box as well as punch. It's a tad more intriguing than your allowing yourself to believe. It could be a snoozer or it could be high-speed chess. But one thing it won't be is Berto on his bike pot-shotting at a slower Soto-Karass that only hung with Mike Jones because he shot his wad in the 2ND ROUND!

              Yes please lets be real.

When was the last time Ortiz showed he was a dynamic puncher? When he was on his senior citizen tour?

Say what you want about how basic and this and that SK is. But, he is a WW, Ortiz arguably not even proven at JWW let alone a proven WW.

Also, SK has more intangibles than Ortiz, especially in the toughness heart department.

Anyways this is just dumb. Because, SK has a rematch with Jones. Because, if he losses that rematch you can't sell Ortiz>Jones and if he wins that rematch you can't sell Ortiz>SK. And, as of right now you can't sell Ortiz>Cintrn. You can try and sell Ortiz>Bailey but that is not saying much.

Berto is going to do a great job in cleaning out the JWW division. He is an elite JWW fighting at WW.

Hold up, Hold up. Ortiz is a big ass JWW. I'm curious to see what Ortiz's fight time weight is compared to Soto-Karass. Just because the guy weighs in at 147 the day before doesn't make him a more dangerous opponent. Soto-Karass is not even some huge puncher that is gonna stalk Berto until he lands his big shot. Come on.

Say what you will about Ortiz but the fact of the matter is he got into a shoot-out with a huge puncher, dropped the guy several times but ultimately faded. Maybe I'm biased because the same thing has happened to me. But Ortiz has the skill set, size, and punch to give Berto fits. He's not going to have to chase him around the ring like he had to with Peterson. It's going to be power boxing and Ortiz has a better one punch shot (along with better combos) than Soto-Karass.

Damn, the only reason we are talking about Soto-Karass is because Mike Jones practically tried giving him the fight and it still didn't happen. All Jones did was backpedal, dog tired, and throw pitty-pat punches and won the fight. What's Berto going to do??? The same thing plus more.

It's bad enough that this tosser isn't fighting top fighters within his own division - he isn't even fighting the top fighters in the divison below his now.

                  Such a glass-jawed coward.

ortiz in realty is bigger then berto so berto won't be able to bully ortiz. ortiz was just draining himself to make 140. he's really a natural welterweight...

i think it's a decent fight. i wouldn't wanna see cintron berto because berto would out speed cintron....in my opinion cintron is too slow. i wanted to see berto vs mike jones. THATS THE FIGHT THAT I WANTED TO SEE. not p*ssy cintron thats gonna end up doing something crazy in the fight. but I learned that jones already has a fight scheduled.

i have no problems with ortiz vs berto. i think ortiz has the RIGHT tools to put a beating on berto. berto has been down by lesser opponents.

ortiz is NOT smaller then berto. he's BIGGER. ortiz is not a JWW in realty therefore berto won't be bullying anyone in that bout.

                    ortiz by ko or UD.
