ok, that hurt my stomach from laughter. Not only is froch #1, ok yeah he's got a good resume sure whatever, but the great bum beater Bute is above Ward? really? Bute who beat jessie brinkley is above ward who dethroned the #1 SMW in Kessler? yeah whatever

Ward is no1. Why the *** would you have Bute above him?

What is the reason for putting him over Ward or even Bute?
Even Kessler has a strong argument for being better ranked than Froch imo.

Carl should easily be no 1.

            Carl's resume >>>>>>>>>>> Ward

I got no issue with Froch as number one as he has been doing big things even if Ward (who has been doing pretty good also) to me is the better fighter.

I would have Ward number 2 for sure though.

Carl @ #1, you can make an argument against it, but not really a strong argument, if you get my meaning.

Bute has no argument for being ranked ahead of Froch. Compare their respective resumes and try to tell me that Bute is even close. Froch has fought Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler and Abraham consecutively, winning all but one (a fight that was extremely close). Against Dirrell he got a bit of a gift, but Dirrell didn't fight like a man who wanted to be a champion and left it close. Froch is also adding another fighter better than anyone Bute has beat in Johnson next.

I probably sound like a Bute hater there, but I'm really not, I just don't feel he deserves all that much credit yet. Bute could possibly be the best in the division, he just hasn't proved it.

                  My top five:

                  1. Ward
                  2. Froch
                  3. Kessler
                  4. Bute
                  5. Dirrell

First of all resume wise none of the SMW gets even close to Froch.

Second Ward and Bute are close in the resume department, you may have Ward above Bute because of the Kessler win, I have Bute over because they are prety even with the exeption that the opponents they have in common Bute have KO them or beat more convincingly.
