David Hayes legacy, will he even get into HOF?

Now obviously David Haye won't go down as an ATG fighter. But how will his legacy be if he won't beat a klitschko? How does his resume look at this point in time?

Will he even be up for a HOF nomination? If so, why?

I feel David Hayes hype and the attention he gets nowhere near matches his resume. Hes a sometimes fun to watch fighter with a big mouth. Thats it.
I mean, what are his best wins? Jean Marc Mormeck?

oh... and try to keep the *****ko vs Gayvid feud to a minimum in this thread.

Like you said he has only 26 fights and his best wins are Mormeck, a razor close MD to Valuev where he threw a record low puches in a HW title fight, and old Ruiz.......need anyone say more?

Why would you even ask that? He isn't anywhere near HOF caliber. Not even close.

        Why?

        For 3 reasons.

        1) the attention he is getting.

        2) the demand for Wladimir or Vitali to fight him. People saying they need him for their legacy.

        3) the way he is carrying himself. And the way british fans speak of him as some kind of Lennox Lewis the 2nd.

Yes he would get in the hall of fame.

Unified C/W champion and WBA heavyweight champion.

there are fighters with a LOT less to crow about in there.

if the IBHOF was legit Haye would have no chance, but its a sham

He'll be in the british HOF if anything based on the most smack talk boxer to have ever lived without taking on an actual fight...

Anyone mentioning the possibility of something like this happening can't be taken serious

I dont think Haye was ever much of a serious boxer.

Hes just an average bloke with a killer punch and decided to make a little money with it.

Even if he beats one of the Klitschkos he probably wouldn't be HOF material.
