We'll have to wait and see.
        agreed

Lopez beat Mtgawa and Gamboa fought him and also made him come up in weight so whats your point?

Solis doesnt have any leverage in the negotiation so why would Gamboa go to 130?

Even at 130 Solis ain't all that and would expect Gamboa to handle him fairly easily, Barros ain't either but I really don't see much in it.

gamboa better not go up to and lose or get his ass kicked a close decision. it makes no sense. arent they trying 2 build the juanma-gamboa fight up to something big??? they should just have them both clean out the division and then the 2 fight for all the marbles. but i guess that makes 2 much sense for arum 2 actually do it.

That is why the fight makes since Gamboa went down to 126 he was always going to come back to 130. If he can dominate that division it would make that fight bigger.

130 being pretty soft I would not put that out of reach of him.

Why have them hang out in one division when you can have them dominate one each then match them up as the best of one class against the best of another. That used to be a big thing in boxing it was only recently that people got their panties in a knot over 5 or 7 pounds.

Why are people flipping out , noone said gamboa is moving up to 130 even if this fight is at 130 it doesnt dictate his future. Gamboa has already said that he is staying at 126 for a while

BORIS ON THESE site are nothing but a bunch of groupies hatin on gamboa for any reason, you dun see any cubans getting down with that lame **** when it comes to lopez beech *****S

I've seen Jorge"Coloradito"Solis fight a couple of times & he's is a top of the line fighter, he's not slow, has good boxing skills, has good defense, could **** & takes a good shot.. If Gamboa fights Solis, this would be the best fighter he's faced so far in his career & Gamboa BETTER BE ON HIS SUPER A GAME, cause Solis could easily take his 0 away!! As a matter of fact if the fight get's done & it's at 130lbs, I'm leaning towards Solis to win this 1!!

i've never thought much of solis,he's slow and doesn't punch that hard, plus he leaves himself wide open, but of the available fighters i guess he's the best option,i think gamboa will beat him using his speed and win by ud...if he does ko him in good fashion look for arum to keep lopez away from him and instead put lopez in a rematch with marquez or ponce de leon,he won't put him in with gamboa

Why don't Gamboa and Lopez just fight each other? Shit's getting ridiculous already!! Nobody wants to see them against anybody else.
