BoxingScene.com was advised that WBA interim-super featherweight champion Jorge Solis (40-2-2, 29 KOs) is the favorite to face WBA/IBF featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (19-0, 15 KOs) on March 26 with HBO televising. Besides Solis, super featherweight contender Jason Litzau (28-2, 21 KOs) is still being considered.

I guess Solis doesn't plan on rescheduling his fight with Uchiyama....

This is actually a good fight if true unlike his rival taking little risks.

          Very ballsy move by Gamboa.

He'll one-up Jaunma big time if he takes the fight.

Yeah weight draining Solis is a good fight. Lopez vs Barros is a better fight.

              OK. Fair point.

But if he fights him at 130 its better than the Barros and the Cordoba fight.

We'll have to wait and see.

I would rather see Gamboa stay at 126 since that division has more guys in it that 130.

130 being a soft division though may make it appealing to Gamboa since he could dominate thus setting up certain fights to be bigger.
