Pacquiao needs to fight the Bradley vs Alexander winner or Berto and if he runs through them then it will silence this debate, also if PAC struggles against Mosley at all and doesn't blow him out like Floyd did then we know why he hasn't fought a black fighter b4

Mosley isn't your typical black fighter. They don't just say black fighter because of skin color, African american boxers are usually slick quick defensive boxers. That's what they were alluding to. Berto isn't one either and he's from Haiti.

But I'd rather see Pac fight Berto than someone slick like Judah, because Berto is a better fighter.

What is this with obsession with slick and black???

        It's disgusting to me.

        Best fights for Pac:

        1. Bradley
        2. Berto
        3. Amir Khan

All young talented guys with varying styles.

First of all. Pacquiao will never fought Alexander nor Bradley. Why? because Alexander and Tim are unknown to the casual fans. They need to make some name first if they want a Pacquiao ticket.

Right now the only African-American Pacquiao wants to fight is Floyd Mayweather Jr. but Mayweather duck Pacquiao so he went to Shane Mosley who had some name and a future HOF... Its not a rocket scientist why they pick Shane Mosley after Mayweather jr. back out and duck Pacquiao.

            Keep it real...

While the statement may be true that Pacman fights whoever "they" (Arum/Roach or whoever else) puts in front of him...he has yet to fight someone in their prime with the exception of Marquez who gave him a toe to toe battle and many believe won atleast one of the two wars in the ring.
Lets not play deliberately ignorant folks.. yes, promoters are responsible for handling things outside of the ring, while fighters handle things inside the ring but fighters also have some "say so" if they "choose" to speak up. Really, the fighters are the cash cow who puts their belts, ego and fame on the table to be praised or demeaned if they lose. Outside of all the chaos about Pacman not taking the test, Im still waiting for him to fight someone who's in their prime no matter what their race is. Dela Hoya was washed up, old n dehydrated. Hatton def wasnt in his prime nor on the level of a fighter like Pacman or Money May or even Dela Hoya in his prime. Cotto def wasnt in his prime nor on the level. Clottey.. LOL.. self explanatory. A JOKE!! Margarito..not in his prime, had been suspended a year, had one tune up fight and then a chance for championship belt. Thats politics and sad for the sport! im not taking anything away from Pacman bc his conditioning speaks volume and doesnt raise any doubt how he would be in against a prime fighter who has skills, power and boxing intelligence. But until that is seen, it would be nice for people to keep it real. Especially HBO n all the rest of the nut hugging critics /fans who dont follow facts in boxing. There's nothing wrong with clinging onto your favorite boxer but atleast 'KEEP IT REAL". IF you take any other boxer who's clearly not popular but at the same time everyone is praising him, u might be more objective and focus alot more on what im saying. Im going to end of this note, Shane isnt in his prime and I really hope that his lopsided performances against Money Mayweather and the boring draw against Mora doesnt imply that he's washed up. I hope he makes it a competitive fight and trains like he did for the cancelled Berto fight. Its not a coincidence that Bob Arum turned down Shane Mosley twice when Shane was 18mo.s younger than he is now without a loss and a draw. Trust me, Arum knows what he's doing. I just hope he learns his lesson by hand picking Pacman's opponents when their not in their prime anymore. Fighting fighters beneath you can eventually come back to haunt you. Ask Roy Jones Jr. who pretty much hand picked and whipped on fighters for a long time until his luck ran out. To be the best, you have to fight the best. Not just the best who's out there willing to fight you for $$$$. Learn to distinguish the difference Alexander's Trainer.

I could care less I'm not obsessed I was just pointing out why they say the whole black fighter thing I don't really give a **** either way. I'll watch Pac

Slickness doesn't guarantee a victory, it's the totality of skills and preparation...

I think this one hit it right... Pacquiao against all odds has proven in every match fighting bigger and elite fighters ever since and hardly earned his status as P4P King and the biggest attraction today probably saving the face of the fading boxing world...Most of them talk nonsense and trash baiting Pacquiao to earn a payday and the one who has got the nod of the fans continue hiding, maybe the best excuse to hide is behind bars...All fights lead to Pacquiao, if any black African-American wants a payday and thinks about his slickness prove themselves between each other and the winner deserves a fight with Pacquiao...

Pacquiao has fought and defeated the likes of Morales3x, Barerra2x, Marquez2x, Diaz, Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, etc...I doubt if any slick young African-American fighter of today [other than Floyd] could beat these fighters...

I don't get this "debate". What does it matter if he hasn't fought a young, african american fighter?? Not like being black will all of a sudden make the fight harder or easier for Pac...or anyone else for that matter.

That's what I'm starting to think.

Is generating clicks for the sponsors really that important?

                      Oh, right.
