Didn't Mayweather-Judah have a lot of issues with selling tickets when they fought?
It can be tough in a America when your trying to become a star.
Or if you don't fight in your hometown.
Hopefully ticket sells go up.

One of the hardest hit economic cities in America and they expect this **** to be selling out? They probably saw the ticket prices and figured crack was a better deal.

this is horrible but expected ! whenever i bring these guys up no1 ever knows them.. except for those that actually follow boxing.. and this fight would have done alot better in ATL trust me ! AND im sure this fights attendance will go up to few thousand because many tickets will be given away id say 1 k paid attendance then it goes up to 5-6 k fight night.

I got my ticket...
It was certainly a dream come true to see that it's in Detroit, but as far as the fighters making money? IDK why they chose to have it here, but hell, I'm gonna enjoy myself while it is.
Hopefully this will set up a rematch in a better venue so these guys can get the pay day they deserve. I hope the ratings r high at lest.

Bradley - Alexander
A buddy and I have tickets and are making the 5+ hour trek for the fight.
Was able to get the Crowne Plaza about a mile away from the 'dome for $65 on Pricleline, so it should be an inexpensive trip.
Part that will suck is people who will get free seats that are better than ours that we paid for ($55).

For the money, this sport is hands down the worst at promoting mid-high level events.
Don King's page is still advertising the Solis-Austin fight and Shaw's page is straight out of 1998 with its format.
Ran a quick search through Ticketmaster for Boxing -> Detroit and Surrounding Areas with no luck on finding this fight. Ran keywords 'Don King' in ticketmaster as that's how he usually promotes his fights...again no luck.
Where the hell do you buy tickets for this fight?? I search 'Devon Alexander Timothy Bradley Tickets' in Google and this thread pops up! LOL!
This is discouraging as a sport. Football can update everything they have to IMMEDIATELY. EVERY WEEK.
Boxing? They take months and months. Some of the laziest online promoting in any sport. It's no fault of the fighters if no one shows up - blame falls entirely on the promoters in this case.
