it has no definition. Its just a ****** word that has no boxing relevance, and its 'definition' can vary drastically from person to person.

where did the word came from then? agreeable to me, its more on the aspect of some other variables like perhaps the opponent type and being able beat that someone to the punch.
defensive and being able to counterpunch = slick?Comment

it was used as a throwaway word to discribe someone that is hard to hit, generally through foot or head movement more so than with your guard.
people on this website have gone balastic over it and try to use it as a real boxing term.
if you want to describe someone that is good defensively or is a good defensive counter puncher, THEN SAY THAT.Comment
