Starting late and getting dropped 3 times looks like shiet.

Also it was Ortiz who changed up and lost the win rather than Peterson who won the draw IMO.

I'd say if Peterson isn't doable, fight Guzman. Thats a fight I wanna see.
guzman can barely make weight...that lazy ass idiot fought at 147 last

if amir fights a fat superfeatherweight in guzman he's a damn b1tch

So Ortiz drop Peterson 3 times and was winning the fight and then decide to change it up? Great analysis there mate..

Me too! Being a UK fight id be surprised if khan is low-balling peterson. Peterson might just want a little more compensation for coming to the UK, but lets be honest peterson can't really draw a crowd in the US anyway. Id imagine the offer is around £200-300k ($300-450) but peterson is probably trying to reach for $500k+. Maybe trying his luck, he isn't gonna make more then $100k fighting anyone else, as everyone has got a fight, im sure he won't want to fight maidana (less money) or his other option is a rematch with ortiz, which will again be less money than khan.

Khan really is the golden ticket for these guys at 140.

I saw it differently, Peterson changing it up while Ortiz losing his head/ running. Ortiz then fought hard in the 10th round, but Peterson won most of the middle rounds. Yeah Ortiz won, but Peterson didn't look like shit.

Yeah, I remember Peterson taking a step back and beautifully countering Ortiz; stunned him a few times too. Ortiz then started to backpedal and Peterson would get a little more aggressive in an attempt to make Ortiz take the initiative. I saw Peterson make the correct adjustments, while Ortiz decided to just come hard in the 10th. I mean Ortiz won IMO, but he made no adjustments.

Fixed the post for you. If that fight was 12 rounds, Peterson would have taken it without a doubt. Ortiz needs to move up to 147 because he's obviously struggling to make weight if he keeps fighting above the JWW limit and he can't even fight for 12 rounds. There's absolutely no reason why a fight of that magnitude should have been scheduled for 10.

This I agree with and I kept telling myself this as I watched it live, had it been a 12 rounder Peterson takes it.

It's about time the Khan-***an rematch finally happened.

Seriously, Prescott is a great option for Khan every time someone looks like backing up. He's got a cheap fight nobody will begrudge him taking against a guy who's desperate to face him.
